SUMMARY:National Human Rights Commission Visit
DESCRIPTION:Integrated School of Law\, Ghaziabad\, organized a Student visit to the National Commission for Human Rights\, Delhi\, on 18/09/2026. Students attended three sessions\, through which they became acquainted with the functioning of the NHRC. \nThe first session was from the Law wing of NHRC\, which deals with the crucial Legal aspect of Human rights. The session was delivered by Ms Bhavini Singh\, AR (Law)\, NHRC.\nThe Second session was from the Complaint Wing of NHRC\, which deals with how complaints are filed on the website or Online and offline platforms to NHRC and how complainants get aware of the status of His/her complaint. The session was delivered by Mr Amit Kumar Sharma\, SA\,  NHRC. \nThe third and last session was from the Investigation Wing of NHRC\, which deals with the investigation process after receiving a complaint to know whether a complaint is genuine or fake\, and many times the Investigation Wing of NHRC helps the local police to investigate a case in a proper direction whenever needed. SUMMARY:Program on Bhartiya Bhasa Abhiyaan
DESCRIPTION:The Integrated School of Law\, Ghaziabad\, organized a special program on the importance of Indian languages in education and the judicial system. On this occasion\, Executive Director Dr. Pankaj A Anand and Dr. Latika Gupta graced the event with their presence. The Academic Director of the ISL\, Dr. KK Mittal\, felicitated the guests and delivered the welcome address. Chief Guest\, Mr. Jaydeep Rai\,Advocate of The Honorable Supreme Court of India & Guest Prof.Dr. Alok Sharma\, Delhi University\, were the centre attraction of the program and enlightened the audience about the importance of Indian Languages. Dr. Jaydeep Rai said that the justice system can become more effective and accessible to the public only when ordinary citizens can understand their rights\, the laws\, and judicial processes in a language they comprehend. \nDr. Alok Sharma emphasized that Language is not merely a medium of communication but a means of accessing knowledge and justice; furthermore\, he encouraged awareness among students regarding Indian languages\, the understanding of legal concepts in simple language\, and a spirit of making justice more accessible and people-centric. \nAt last\, Dr. Ananta Sharma offered the Vote of Thanks. \nDate of the Program: 25-09-2026\nTiming: 11:00 am\nVenue: Auditorium

SUMMARY:Awareness Program & Poster Making Competition on POCSO Act \, 2012
DESCRIPTION:Integrated School of Law\, Ghaziabad organized an Awareness Programme and Poster Making Competition on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act\, 2012 on 1st October 2026 at 1:00 PM onwards at the Moot Court Hall. \nThe programme was organized on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and in compliance with the directions of the District Legal Services Authority Ghaziabad (DLSA). The objective of the programme was to create awareness among students regarding child protection\, prevention of sexual offences against children\, and the legal safeguards provided under the POCSO Act\, 2012. \nDuring the Awareness Programme\, students were sensitized about the key provisions of the POCSO Act\, reporting mechanisms\, legal remedies\, child rights\, and the importance of creating a safe environment for children. Students actively participated in the awareness activity and demonstrated their understanding of the subject. \nA total of 15 students participated in the programme. The positions secured in the Awareness Programme were: \n1st Position: Hiba\, B.A. LL.B. 5th Semester\n2nd Position: Anjali Sharma\, LL.B. 1st Semester\n3rd Position: Chesta\, B.A. LL.B. 5th Semester \nAs part of the programme\, a Poster Making Competition was also organized. The participants presented creative and informative posters highlighting themes of child safety\, prevention of sexual abuse\, child rights and legal protection under the POCSO Act. \nThe winners of the Poster Making Competition were: \n1st Position: Ambiya\, B.A. LL.B. 5th Semester\n2nd Position: Kashish Tyagi\, B.A. LL.B. 1st Semester\n3rd Position: Mukan Mahur\, B.A. LL.B. 1st Semester \nThe programme provided students with an opportunity to develop their legal awareness\, creativity and social responsibility towards the protection of children. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the programme informative and meaningful. \nThe programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. K. K. Mittal\, Academic Director\, Integrated School of Law\, and Dr. Pushp Raj\, Principal\, Integrated School of Law. The event was coordinated by the faculty members of the Integrated School of Law. \nOverall\, the programme successfully achieved its objective of spreading awareness about the POCSO Act\, 2012\, while commemorating the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and promoting the values of safety\, dignity\, justice and social responsibility. \nDate:- 1st October \, 2026\nTime:- 1:00 Pm Onwards\nVenue:- Integrated School of Law \, Moot Court Hall
